Again this year, leadership opportunities will be co-ordinated through the Timberwolf Leadership Council (TLC). This council will include opportunities for leadership in many areas - athletic council, Me to We, spirit days, dances, global issues, and lunch helpers. All students from Grade 7 or Grade 8 are welcome to apply for a position. Due to the responsibility involved, selection will be limited to those who can manage the time commitment and organization required. This year, students must fill out the application form online.
TLC will participate in fundraising to build schools or provide education, water, medical supplies, etc. for children in developing countries who do not have the same opportunities. Me to We Day is being held at the Kitchener Auditorium on November 20th, 2013. Applications for the tickets alloted to NLW will be accepted in September.

Kigali Memorial Centre"The Kigali Memorial Centre was opened on the 10th Anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide, in April 2004. The Centre is built on a site where over 250,000 people are buried. These graves are a clear reminder of the cost of ignorance. The Centre is a permanent memorial to those who fell victim to the genocide and serves as a place for people to grieve those they lost."
